Hello there! My name is Jasmine and I am from San Francisco, California. I grew up in a bilingual English-Mandarin household, which sparked my deep love for languages early on. I am currently studying French literature and Francophone studies, and I have a background in musical theater, phonetics/diction, as well as translation. I have also worked at a French immersion summer camp for 2 years as a counselor and a sailing school for 5 years as an instructor.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
As a language learner myself, I understand how challenging(and rewarding!!!)the process can be. That’s why I prioritize building confidence and maintaining consistency in my teaching. At the same time, I’m flexible and tailor my approach to suit each student’s unique goals, pace, and learning style. My lessons primarily focus on conversation and pronunciation, with the goal of having you speak 70–80% of the time during class. It may take a session or two to fully understand your needs, but I’ll always ensure you have a clear sense of your current level and next steps. I take notes during class without interrupting students and send them over after class. If you'd prefer to work on writing, I’m happy to incorporate that as well.
