I've been learning Chinese with June for almost year now, and it's been a wonderful experience. Her lessons are always lively and engaging - she brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm into each class. June carefully prepares her own materials, tailoring them to my level and goals, and she helps me understand even the subtle nuances of the language. She also shares a lot about Chinese culture, which makes learning even more interesting and enriching. I especially appreciate that she is very flexible and always ready to adjust the lessons according to my needs. I'm really happy with my progress and definitely plan to keep learning with her!

I've been learning with June for 7 months now and I am still amazed when I can read a passage. I had zero knowledge when we started. Her patience and flexibility ensure the lesson is unique to me and my goals.

Another great lesson today. I especially like how my explain certain concepts with the chinese charactors fire/flames for words related to heat or water droplets and ice for charactors related to thirsty. It helped me to memorise certain charactors. Very interesting.

June tailors our classes to fit my needs exactly. She perfectly blends a good amount of reading, speaking, and listening into our lessons on day to day and deep conversational topics. I have been seeing June regularly for the past few years (albiet not as often as I should) and I am so happy with my progress. I can now read essentially basic chinese (menus, text messages, books with my daughter), my listening comprehension has improved greatly, and I am able to converse and express myself. She is an amazing teacher, I highly recommend her

Todays lesson was the best. It had new vocabulary, numbers, days, weeks, months, past, present and future tense, tones, videos conversations at different speeds, all well thought out in this enjoyable session. I came feeling like I learnt so much and retained all that information. My teacher was so happy and so was I. 10 out of 10. Perfect class.

This was my third lesson with June. I'm very happy with our classes so far. June is very knowledgeable and is helping me gain a much deeper understanding of the Chinese culture and reasons behind why certain grammar structures or words are different in Chinese as opposed to English or French. Her mnemonic techniques are also very creative and helpful! She is also patient and I can tell she really wants to help me improve. This allows me to feel more at ease to practice my speaking skills.
