I’m a native Russian speaker with a passion for teaching language and sharing culture. I currently live in Finland, where I’m studying to become a primary school teacher. In my free time, I enjoy reading, dancing, staying active, and traveling—mountains are my favorite places, and I love skiing whenever I can! Languages are my true passion, and I’m excited to explore Russian with you in a fun and engaging way. I have a strong background in teaching and intercultural communication, which helps me create engaging lessons for students of all ages and levels. My studies in Intercultural Teacher Education allow me to understand different learning needs and adapt my approach. I believe learning should be fun and interactive, so I use games, conversations, and a variety of materials to keep lessons exciting and effective. I also enjoy sharing Russian culture, literature, and history to make learning more meaningful. Whether you’re a child or an adult, I’m here to support and inspire you on your journey to mastering Russian! With over a year of teaching experience, I work with both adults and children, offering engaging lessons. My dynamic approach includes interactive activities, diverse materials, and conversational practice for fluency.

Ekaterina is the most professional teacher I have ever worked with on Italki. She uses a very organized Miro interface structured with a warm-up and layered exercises that work towards the primary lesson. I feel like I am making tremendous progress working with Ekaterina and I greatly appreciate her creative use of technology and engaging content.
