Namaste! I am Sanchita from Lucknow, India -- a linguaphile, storyteller, ex-journalist and teacher with 15 years of experience in Hindi & English language communication. I teach Hindi & English at all levels. I believe that learning a language is like opening the door to a new, rich cultural experience. It can’t be complete without understanding the socio-cultural contexts in which a language has grown and evolved. I am learning 4 languages currently – Turkish, French, Spanish & Mandarin. I am also a published author. My short stories & articles have been published in Hindustan Times (newspaper), TES Orbit (magazine), Spark (online magazine).ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
My journey as a teacher started with my job at the Institute for Career Studies in 2020. I trained Grade 10, 11 and 12 students to prepare for university entrance tests. I mentored them, helping them improve their communication skills and learn how to give their best in group discussions & interviews. Later, in June 2022, while still working at my full-time job, I joined the Duolingo Global Ambassador community as a teacher. I took classes during my free time and hosted regular sessions for attendees from Europe and the US – receiving a solid 5-star rating. The rich cultural exchange and global exposure that I gained in these classes, prompted me to make this my permanent vocation.บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
I like partnering with my students as a friend. My sessions are conducted in an environment of open & two-way communication, keeping in view the learning pace and convenience of each student. I encourage them to ask questions – not just about grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation or other aspects of the language, but also about India – its ancient heritage, cultural wealth, rich diversity, people, topography, history, and place in the modern world. I regularly seek feedback and suggestions from students to tweak my teaching style, if required, and customize the lesson plan to best suit their needs. I use a variety of formats – storytelling, videos, presentations, etc. – to deliver my lessons.สื่อการสอนของฉัน

Great class reading a poem about Jhansi ki Rani by Priyanka Pathak, difficult vocabulary but an interesting time in history to read about + I had seen the film about that remarkable queen.
