Hi, I’m Simone! I’m 30 years old and originally from Southern Italy, but I’ve been living in Turin for almost a decade now. I’ve spent a good part of that time teaching, and through that experience I’ve learned how to make lessons both effective and fun. My background is actually in science — I studied physics — but along the way I discovered a real passion for languages and linguistics. Since then, I’ve helped lots of students improve their Italian. Outside the classroom, I enjoy music, literature, and cooking, and I often incorporate these passions into my lessons to keep them lively and engaging. Simone spoke Italian clearly, using vocabulary and a speed that was comprehensible at my level. He introduced new vocabulary and was able to keep the conversation moving forward and productive. For a student hoping to improve their speaking ability, Simone is a great teacher to work with.
