Italian & English Teacher · 30 Years of Experience · Pedagogy-Based Approach I'm Sarah. I've been teaching Italian and English for over 30 years, and I still enjoy every lesson. My background is in pedagogy, learning psychology and educational methodology. I don't just know the language: I know how people learn it, where they get stuck, and how to help them move forward. I work with adults and young learners at all levels, from complete beginners to advanced students preparing for official exams, including CILS, CELI, PLIDA and Cambridge. I also work with people relocating to Italy or the UK, who need practical, real-world language fast. My lessons are structured and built around you: your level, your goals, your reason for learning. I believe mistakes are how you learn, and lessons tend to involve a fair amount of laughter too. Progress happens when you feel safe enough to try, to repeat, to ask the same question twice. I create that space. After 30 years I can read a student quickly. I know when to push and when to slow down. I use textbooks alongside my own materials: audio dialogues, songs, authentic texts for Italian; structured course books supplemented to target your specific gaps for English. Grammar gets explained when you need it, in plain terms. Each lesson has a clear focus. You'll always leave knowing what you worked on and why. Book a trial lesson.
