Baha is an excellent teacher. He's incredibly talented and has worked hard to attain his current skillset. His English is impeccable, his knowledge about history, grammar and other things is insane. In every lesson with him I don't feel like I am a student and he's a teacher: instead I feel like we are two friends having a conversation. Everything flows naturally. He also has notes and explanations for everything about Turkish, and if he doesn't have it, he'll create one. Baha is a brilliant teacher as he combines his knowledge of history and culture of Turkey and speaks English like a native speaker enabling him to understand the way we think in English and avoid making mistakes as we think in English. He conveys the beauty of the language in sharing the history and etymology and is exceptionally patient and encouraging to bring out the best learning experience and promoting confidence in my progress. I am very impressed with his impeccable English for a Turkish teacher as I often had experiences with Turkish teachers who were unable to grasp the learning difficulties I had however Baha immediately understands how I think in English so is able to steer me in the right direction. I am looking forward to growing my Turkish vocabulary as he reinforces what I learn allowing me to practice and not be afraid to make mistakes as that is all part of learning as practice makes perfect. He teaches with confidence, so much patience and professionalism.

I wish I had met Baha years ago and received instruction with him, but it is what it is. There isn't much doubt, at least in my mind, that I would have been speaking this beautiful language and understanding the television shows I like to watch and having conversations with my Turkish acquaintances. His method of teaching makes sense as he mixes grammar, vocabulary and other nuances of the language that are impossible to learn from any textbook. When our lesson is completed, I find that I never want it to end; it goes by so quickly. Baha has definitely found his niche in life as a language instructor, and I feel so fortunate to have him teaching me Turkish.
