This was my first time using italki, and I'm also just starting out with Telugu, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Dr. Chandra Sekhar made it such an easy, encouraging start. He's incredibly patient and friendly with a beginner like me and explains things in a way that builds your confidence right from the first lesson. You can tell he genuinely knows the language inside out, and he has a real gift for making it feel approachable rather than intimidating. Would happily recommend him to anyone starting out with Telugu.

Dr. Chandra Sekhar is an excellent Telugu teacher with an encyclopedia knowledge of the language, owable to his impressive educational background including being a Gold medalist at this PhD and being named Best in the Year at the whole state level in his Telugu work.
