Hello everybody! Ciao a tutti!
My name is Claudio and I am a teacher of Italian as a second language.
I am originally from Puglia, I lived several years in Tuscany and I have recently moved to the United States.
I have a Master's degree in English and Arabic language with concentration in linguistics and teaching foreign languages. I also have an academic certification of competence to teach Italian as a foreign language.
For the last 17 years I have been working as a teacher in public and private institutions. I consider myself privileged in doing one of the most beautiful job in the world.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน

Claudio is a fantastic teacher. In the past couple of years I've tried out many teachers and tutors on italki (I've done more than 200 lessons in total), but nowadays I'm scheduling lessons only with Claudio. My goal is to practice conversation, and he's very easy to talk to. He corrects me as needed and teaches me new words and expressions to enrich my vocabulary. I don't need a lot of grammar instruction, but when I do have questions about a point of grammar, he's very helpful. Our hour-long lessons fly by; I really enjoy them and am always looking forward to the next one.

Claudio is an absolutely amazing teacher (this coming from an English teacher); he possesses an exhaustive knowledge of Italian grammar, but is able to convey the information in a clear and accessible way. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have him as my guide and mentor in my quest to master la bella lingua!
