I love to travel and I usually spend my time abroad practising languages or reading. I graduated from the University of Southampton with a BA in Spanish, French, and Arabic, and I'm currently working on my Portuguese, Greek, and German skills. I enjoy spending time with my partner, eating roast dinners, watching foreign films, and going on dog walks (on the rare occasion that it's sunny in the UK!). I mainly focus my English lessons on conversation, except my Grammar-Intensive lessons which tackle challenging topics and are tailored to each student. My Spanish lessons are also conversation-based but I'm happy to include new vocabulary, grammar and reading to help my students learn. My first experience teaching was when I was 18 and I worked as a rock climbing instruction. Since then, I worked as a teaching assistant, primarily with SEN students, so I spent a lot of time working in small groups or 1-2-1 and would be happy to tutor anyone with additional needs. I have also spent time working as an Activity Leader at an International Summer School in the UK. As I said, I've just come back from India where I was teaching English at a school in Kerala. Having had classes of over 40, I loved making classes fun and engaging as well as getting to know my students and practising their English.
