Woohoo! Tonight we wrapped up Chapter 10 of our speaking course and kicked off Chapter 7 in reading and writing. Kru Saya never fails to amaze me with how creative and thoughtful she is in putting each lesson together. She strikes the perfect balance of making the lessons challenging while still keeping them fun and engaging. With every class, I feel more confident in my Thai, and it’s so rewarding to notice myself applying what I’ve learned when watching Thai movies and reading Thai subtitles. Tonight’s lesson was another great one! We went back to the Speaking Thai book, which was a perfect refresher to practice my speaking skills and pick up new vocabulary that I really enjoyed learning. In the second part of the class, we focused on reading and writing. I often mix up my tones, but Kru Saya always has clever and creative ways to get me back on track.
