Hi! I’m Kane, a licensed nurse and Tagalog tutor from the Philippines. I started teaching during the pandemic and fell in love with it. Being a nurse helps me connect better with students, especially those in the medical field. I enjoy helping people and love seeing my students grow in confidence. I’m friendly, patient, and flexible. I understand that every student learns differently, so I always adjust my approach based on what works best for you. I give honest feedback, but I make sure it’s always encouraging and helpful. I take time to listen and guide my students so they feel comfortable using the language. Fantastic teacher for my 4-year old son. Spoke in full Tagalog in simple language and got him speaking. Exactly the immersive type of lesson I’ve been looking for. All other teachers we tried spoke far too much English. She has really fun interactive sessions tailored to my son’s interests. Perfect teacher for us!

This was my first introduction tagalog class with Miss Kane. I like her style of teaching. She was prepared, professional, easy going and had a sense of humor. She also gave me feed back and was encouraging. I ended up booking 10 lessons.
