Hello! I’m Maria, a native Romanian speaker with a deep passion for languages. I studied Portuguese at the Faculty of Letters, where I immersed myself in the complexities of foreign language study. This experience not only honed my linguistic skills but also gave me a unique perspective on the challenges and rewards of learning a new language. As someone who has been both a student and a teacher, I understand the journey of language acquisition from both sides. I’m open, friendly, and believe in the power of communication as the foundation for any successful collaboration.

As a teacher, I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where my students can thrive. While I may not have all the answers or the perfect solution to every problem, I am committed to helping each of my students progress. I believe in the importance of patience and the courage to experiment, as these are key to mastering any language. My approach is tailored to each student’s individual needs, and I highly value feedback as it allows me to continuously improve and adapt my teaching methods. I also recognize that not every student-teacher relationship is a perfect fit, so I encourage open communication and flexibility, especially in the initial stages of our lessons.

My lessons are designed with a focus on the student’s specific goals and learning style. I currently work with students who have at least an A2 level of Romanian. In our first session, we’ll assess your needs and ensure that my teaching style aligns with your expectations. I don’t recommend committing to long-term plans right away; instead, we’ll use the first month to explore whether we’re a good fit. I emphasize realistic goal-setting and thoughtful resource management, ensuring that your time and money are well-spent. My teaching style is rooted in patience, adaptability, and the understanding that each student’s journey is unique.
