Hello! My name is Sigurd, and i come from Bergen on the west coast of Norway. I have a degree in music (jazz performance) from The University of Stavanger, and i have too many hobbies... Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, music, exercising, drawing, reading books and comics, warhammer, gaming, learning languages, and even more. The good thing is that we are guaranteed to find topics and content in common to use in our lessons!ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I have spent a lot of time researching language learning, and i think that i can teach you much more than just Norwegian words and grammar. Language learning should actually be fun, and not a chore. In our lessons we can talk about whatever you like, i can teach you grammar if you want, but most importantly i will show you how you can learn the Norwegian language while consuming content of your liking. We actually learn languages by mostly listening and reading. Think about children for example. We can talk, read, listen and discuss topics that you enjoy. I speak Norwegian, English, or Portuguese (intermediate). I can also communicate on a basic level in Spanish and German. We will use examples with text and audio, and i will give you resources that you can use yourself to practice a little bit every day.
Learning Norwegian will be fun, and i will teach you how to learn efficiently, while still keeping it light and interesting!5.0

Jeg har hatt timer med Sigurd på italki en stund nå, og jeg er veldig fornøyd. Det er lett å prate med ham, og timene føles naturlige og komfortable. Samtidig lærer jeg mye uten at det føles tungt.
Han forklarer ting på en enkel måte og gir gode eksempler, så det er lettere å forstå og bruke språket i praksis. Jeg føler at jeg gjør fremgang, spesielt når det gjelder å snakke mer fritt.
Jeg kan definitivt anbefale Sigurd hvis du vil bli bedre i norsk. Det er både hyggelig og effektivt å lære med ham.

First lesson was really great, we took time to gauge what the lessons would look like and covered a lot of ground in finding out what level I was at. Would recommend.

I really enjoyed my lesson. He is a teacher who really listens to your goals and guides you properly. He is a relaxed guy who is very good at keeping the conversation going and making you feel comfortable. Highly recommend to take classes with him!
