I’m French, and I’ve been living in Paris. French is my native language, and I’m passionate about languages and travel. I’ve had the opportunity to live in both Belgium and Italy, and part of my family lives in Brazil. These experiences have made me open-minded and eager to meet new people and explore different cultures.
I love sharing the French culture – from its language to its history, traditions, and way of life.

I hold a degree from the Alliance Française, a Master's in French as a Foreign Language from the Sorbonne. I am certified for the DELF & DALF exams A1 B2. I have several years of experience teaching to adults (A0 to C1 ), mainly expatriates in Paris. I also teach French to teenagers in a middle school & to students at University. I am patient & caring, my goal is to make learning French an enjoyable experience.

My lessons focus on speaking skills, but I can also improve your written expression, grammar, or DELF exam preparation, tailored to your objectives.
A lesson typically starts with an audio, video, or text related to your interests, adapted to your level & when possible, authentic. This helps us work on comprehension, followed by a grammar with exercises. Finally, we reinforce these skills through role play, discussion, or debate. Pease note I don't teach to students under 12.

This was the first occasion that I had spoken French to anyone so it was pretty daunting. Axelle is a very pleasant person and clearly a good teacher. She outlined the lesson clearly and mixed her approach in French and English adjusting it when she could see I was struggling with French writing her questions and my responses in French as I read much more than I speak. Axelle gave me some good feedback on my level of French and outlined a plan for improvement. All in all a good first lesson. Mercy a Axelle.
