Finding a tutor who clicks with your personality and learning style is like searching for a unicorn. I’ve scrolled through so many not-so-magical tutors before landing on Selin. But once I found her, it was like hitting the tutor jackpot. Selin is amazing when it comes to adapting to my learning needs. She has the patience of a saint when I hit a tough subject, explaining things in every conceivable way until my brain finally goes, "Oh, I get it now!" She does not just stop at lessons—she has me working on homework, suggesting I do other forms of studying outside lessons like listen to music, links to websites, encouraging me to practice and improve (she’s basically a tutor and life coach in one!). The lessons are always a perfect balance of professional and fun—like learning with a friend who also happens to know a ton of stuff. She sends all the lesson notes so I can pretend to review when I am not in class. Highly recommend Selin.

Selin has very good patience, which is needed when teaching me. She is very calm and relaxed in her teaching and uses different tools, reading, conversation, games. Selin explains things very well and suggests listening to music, watching Turkish TV series outside of lessons to help improve listening skills. I recommend taking lessons with Selin.
