Tomoko-san’s trial lesson was very insightful into what it would be like taking lessons from her. She clearly went over which textbooks would be used and how each class would progress from practicing with examples sentences to free role-play activities. She also spoke in a very clear and easy to understand manner and was very nice when correcting any mistakes. I look forward to taking another class with her!

Tomoko has been very good at assessing my ability and adjusting the plan to meet my goals. I feel she prepares very specific lessons that are challenging yet attainable, so I feel like I am making good progress. I am very much a beginner, but her English is excellent, so we don't miss any opportunities to improve my learning.

Tomoko-Sensei covered a some material that was new and challenging. She was very patient and supportive despite my struggles.

I have had 43 lessons now with Tomoko. She is a wonderful teacher. I feel I make progress every week and i truly enjoy every lesson. Our lessons have become something i look forward to every week.
