I'm a native Sinhala speaker with over 10 years of teaching experience and a BA (Special) degree from the University of Peradeniya. I currently teach students worldwide and love working with learners from all backgrounds - I've had amazing students from the UK, USA, Switzerland, Germany, Australia and so many other countries!

How We'll Learn Together:
My lessons are super interactive, friendly, and designed just for you! Whether you're brand new to Sinhala or want to level up your skills, I'm here to cheer you on every step of the way.
Don't worry if you're nervous - we'll start chatting in English and slowly mix in more Sinhala as you get comfortable. I promise to make learning feel natural and fun, never overwhelming!บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
I offer two main types of lessons:
🗣️ Speaking Lessons – Focused on building your confidence, pronunciation, and everyday conversation skills.
✍️ Writing Lessons – Step-by-step guidance on Sinhala letters, sentence structure, and grammar, including reading practice.
I always start with English to help you feel comfortable, then slowly move into Sinhala as you gain confidence. My lessons are interactive and personalized to suit your age, language level, and interests. I use real-life examples, visuals, and simple explanations to make learning Sinhala easy and enjoyable.

Pujathri always has a smiling and positive attitude during classes. After taking Sinhala conversation classes with her for about five months, I decided to start Sinhala writing classes with her as well. I've had two writing classes so far and am really enjoying both types of class!

I have had weekly Sinhala classes with Pujathri for two months now and am pleased with how much I am learning. Pujathri is very kind and patient, which keeps the lessons fun. The materials she uses helps to make learning vocabulary easy. My husband, who is a native Sinhala speaker, is always impressed after each class at how many new words Pujathri has taught me. I look forward to continuing to work with her!
