Hiya! My name is Ivan =) I am a certified English teacher.
I have been teaching it professionally for 3 years. I don't 'tutor', I help my students develop their language skills (speaking, writing, reading and listening), expand vocabulary and achieve the goals they set.
My approach is very simple: I choose a student book that suits your needs best and then tweak it so you have as much speaking practice as possible. Moreover, I start every lesson with revision, so you don't forget any of the vocabulary or grammar that we've discussed.
As for grammar, we don't focus on the rules, but on the usage. We speak using it as much as possible, which helps us use the new rules in speech.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
Even though I hate being called a 'tutor', I don't offer standard English classes where you have to sit and listen to the teacher speak. You are the one doing most of the talking.
I want you to share your thoughts, ideas, and insights using new words and grammar. I want you to make English a part of your life, not something you have to study. บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
As I mentioned, my classes are built on the dogmas of the lexical approach. That is, the approach to teaching grammar and vocabulary is not the one that you are used to.
When it comes to grammar, not only do we study rules, but we also learn the ways that native speakers usually use them. These set phrases are called chunks, pieces of language. That allows you to start using them right off the bat.
As for vocabulary, we apply the same 'chunks' approach here. We don't study single words, yet we learn entire phrases. For example, instead of learning the word 'catchy', we learn 'a catchy tune' or 'a catchy slogan'. This way words have more context to them, so it's easier to start using them.สื่อการสอนของฉัน

The class with Ivan was very nice and enjoyable. He’s a cool teacher who explains things clearly and makes the lesson feel relaxed and engaging. The atmosphere was comfortable, and I felt confident asking questions. Overall, it was a great learning experience.
