Camille

This is my second review, and it’s been almost a year since I started learning French with Camille. I was honestly hesitant to commit at first because I work long hours and don’t have much time to study. But even with very limited study time, my French has improved a ton. Camille’s super patient and easy to talk to, which makes a big difference in how I feel about class. In the past, I used to feel pressured in other lessons and would end up dreading them out of fear of messing up. With Camille, it’s the opposite. The vibe is low-stress and supportive, and mistakes are just part of the process. If you’re like most people and don’t have a lot of extra time, Camille totally adapts and helps you make real progress. A year later, I still stand by what I said in my first review: if you’re scrolling through a ton of profiles and aren’t sure who to pick, go with Camille. You won’t regret it.

Camille is an amazing teacher. She's funny, patient, creative and really invested in my progress and learning experience. Her lessons are well thought and personalized to my own needs and interests. She created a great organization system to keep every note, exercise and correction nice and neat in a google doc, which makes it really easy to go back and review in between our lessons. All that (and more!) makes me look forward to every lesson :)

I can really recommend Camille as a French teacher. Throughout all my lessons with Camille, she has been structured, encouraging and attentive to my level and knowledge in French. Her approach to teaching helps me improve. She also knows a lot of expressions and idioms, which is wonderful. Camille makes the classes engaging, fun and insightful. Camille is a wonderful teacher! We start each lesson with spontaneous conversation. She is always very friendly and encouraging, even when I struggle to find the words I want to use. After that, we focus on some specific vocab or grammar concepts that she has identified. She is very organised, and helps to structure study by keeping a record of everything in a shared Google Doc that we build together, which is really helpful for revising the lesson afterwards. She also designs personalised homeworks to reinforce key concepts in between lessons. Most importantly, she really seems to care about her students and their progress. I look forward to many more lessons with Camille :)

Camille is a wonderful teacher, I would highly recommend.

I’ve been taking lessons to refresh my French before traveling, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. My teacher is incredibly attentive and adapts each session to my level and personal goals. She prepared tons of useful travel-related vocabulary that was exactly what I needed. One thing I really appreciate is how she corrects my mistakes in written form during class—this helps me remember and review everything afterward. Her structure is amazing: she always prepares a detailed Google Doc for each lesson, which makes it easy to track progress and revisit key points. If you’re looking for someone who’s organized, responsive to your needs, and genuinely supportive, I highly recommend her!
