Hello, I’m a Korean teacher with an official Korean teaching license, currently living in New Jersey and working full-time as a teacher.
Have you ever tried learning a language but felt like you couldn’t really use it in daily conversations? My goal as a teacher is not to teach “book-style” expressions, but real-life expressions you can actually use. I also help students stay motivated and make learning Korean a fun hobby.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
1️⃣ For the very beginner – We need to master "Hangeul" which is Korean alphabet. You can finish learning Hangeul in about 5 classes (2 weeks).
2️⃣ Beginner (A1-A2) - Usually consistent students (2 times a week) get to A2 level when they finish 20 classes with me. Which is about 3 months. This level, you can speak present/past/future tense naturally and we can communicate with easy expressions.
3️⃣ Intermediate (B1-B2): Now it's time to focus on Sino-Korean words. We will try to expand our expressions - use different speaking grammars that have the same meaning and get the intention of speaking. Even if Korean seems difficult and complicated, you don’t need much to start speaking. I teach difficult things in a simple way. Rather than just teaching grammar, I focus on helping you speak like a native Korean. I’m not a fan of stiff or boring classes. I try to use a variety of materials to help you enjoy learning and discover more about Korea.
