Hi! I’m Lyola, a bilingual English tutor from England. I’ve been teaching English for over two years and have experience working with learners from all over the world. I speak both English and Spanish, and I’m passionate about how language learning can connect people across cultures and help them explore new ways of expressing themselves.

I’m a TEFL-certified tutor with a background in law, recruitment and finance - so I bring real experience into the classroom. I’m calm, friendly, and genuinely interested in getting to know my students as individuals. I’ve worked with adults, teens, and children, and I always take the time to understand how each student learns best.

My lessons are fully personalised, which means no two students get the same plan. We’ll focus on your specific goals,whether that’s feeling more confident in meetings, passing an exam, or just chatting with ease while travelling.
I use a natural and flexible teaching approach that prioritises real communication. We’ll work on vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation in context, and explore both formal and informal English. I also integrate different skills into one lesson—reading, speaking, listening, and even thinking in English.

Though it was only our first lesson, it was very engaging and interesting. We have interests in common, and I think we will have plenty of topics to talk about while Lyola helps me improve my English.

Lyola is very calm and patient, and that makes me feel comfortable right away. She’s always helpful when I get stuck trying to express something. I had a great time in the lesson and I’d love to take another one soon.
