Mickael

Mickael is a fantastic instructor who is able to listen and guide you at any level of French. He is very encouraging and patient; it has been over ten years since I last studied French, yet after a couple of lessons with him I already feel much more confident. His lesson materials are well-prepared and approachable, with a structure that helps you build solid foundations in grammar and vocabulary. During our conversations, he is attentive and gently corrects pronunciation, while providing ample examples of real-life French. Merci beaucoup Mickael! I look forward to our future lessons.

Mickael was very thorough and knowledgeable. He assessed my level and gave me homework to complete and a video to watch. He was very personable, had a good sense of humor and plenty of patience. I look forward to the next session.

If you are studying French and need a clear, structured guidance while enjoying a natural flow of conversation Mickael is the perfect teacher for you! I just spent 30 mins on the phone with a friend of mine telling her if she wants to improve her French I cannot recommend Mickael enough. He speaks very clearly, listens intentionally when I speak, and is able to provide the precise points in which I need to improve for my speaking. This is important personally for me, because not only I want to be understood by native speakers, but I want to speak the language correctly. Most of all, it is evident to me that Mickael loves sharing the beautiful French language and culture. So try a lesson with him, and also check out his podcast! You will not regret it :)

After several lessons with Mickael, I am growing much more confident in my French! It's difficult to remember all the things I previously learned in school over 12 years ago and speaking with a native is invaluable. Pairing that with the lessons, I am able to brush up on my reading and writing as well. 10/10 recommend!!

Mickael is a fantastic French tutor! He’s incredibly friendly, patient, and kind, which makes learning with him feel comfortable and encouraging. He tailors each lesson perfectly to your level which is great for me after 11 years of not speaking French! I especially appreciate how he incorporates both written and comprehension exercises as it really helps build a well-rounded understanding of the language/helps you brush up on things that may have slipped through the cracks. I always feel supported in our sessions, and I’ve made real progress thanks to his thoughtful guidance. Highly recommend!
