Rafael is a great professor who is extremely diligent even before our first lesson. He asked many questions as soon as I booked my lesson in order to gauge my level and goals. Rafael then sent over appropriate materials for me to review and to understand the objectives of the first lesson. He was the most prepared professor I have ever seen. Not only did he help me with learning the language, he also took time to recommend things of interest to help promote a love of the language and culture. After the lesson, he provided a detailed document of all that we had learned during the lesson.

Rafael was lovely! He was patient and calm while still being high energy and interesting. He is able to tailor your class to be the right fit for your goals. I would absolutely take another class with him and would recommend him to anyone!

Rafael was well prepared for our first class. The hour went quickly and he had a nice mixture of activities to do for those that want a mix of grammar, speaking, and listening. I really liked that he allowed me to talk and made corrections at the right moments. Even at my level, I felt very comfortable making mistakes and just talking as much as possible in Portuguese. I would definitely recommend future students to try a lesson with him.
