Hi, my name is Ivana and I live in Prague. Czech is my native language. I also speak English and I am learning German.
I love working with Czech learners and I’m grateful to have met so many inspiring and friendly people.
Driven by the progress I’ve seen my students make, I keep diving deeper into language learning strategies and techniques, as well as studying how our minds work in order to grasp new information and become a better teacher, a better coach, and a better person.
I look forward to meeting you.
Teaching is my greatest passion. Apart from it, I also enjoy daily yoga, hiking and exploring new places.

Since 2020 I have guided many expats on their journey towards mastering Czech and feeling more at home in their new communities. I work full time as a private Czech tutor teaching both online and in person, one-on-one and in groups at a language school. In our lessons we will together focus on speaking, improving your pronunciation and on practical vocabulary that is personalized to your needs. I will keep your motivation high so learning Czech feels fun and natural for you. We will do a lot of conversation as well as practical exercises. These included establishing the student´s motivation, setting goals and dividing activities into grammar specific categories and into conversational categories.
