Hi, my name is Laura! I am looking forward to meeting you and being your English teacher! I love meeting people from around the world and helping them become a proficient English speaker and gain confidence speaking English to native speakers with clear pronunciation. I am looking forward to helping you reach your goals and learning about your culture. I am from the United States. I grew up in Miami, FL and Atlanta, GA. I lived in Costa Rica for 5 years and taught English there in-person and online. Some of my interests are photography, art, movies, travel, books, and history. I am a TEFL certified English teacher which means I am certified to teach English as a foreign language. I have experience teaching students from all around the world for the past 7 years, both online and in-person. I love teaching, as my mother and grandmother were both teachers! I believe I was meant to be a teacher. I love to improve lives by teaching my students the English language and getting to know about their culture and interests. I offer many styles of English classes including conversational lessons, business English, test preparation, improvement of listening skills, and classes where we review an article that interests you. My teaching style is fun and patient.
