Bonjour ! My name is Isabelle, I’m 48 years old and a native French speaker. I studied part of my education in Germany and Sweden, and I was an expat in Japan for three years. I enjoy cooking, eating, traveling, reading and I practice ikebana. Je m’appelle Isabelle, j’ai 48 ans et je suis française native. J’ai fait une partie de mes études en Allemagne et en Suède, et j’ai vécu trois ans au Japon comme expatriée. J’aime cuisiner, manger, voyager, lire et je pratique l’ikebana.

Isabelle is a fantastic tutor, full of enthusiasm and interesting anecdotes about French, France, The French and life in general. Each lesson feels more like a light hearted chat over coffee than a lesson. That said my French has improved enormously in the two months I have been taking lessons with Isabelle. Very highly recommended!

J'aime beaucoup les leçons avec Isabelle. Elle est patient et j'aime lui parler. We talk freely for a while, then focus on a specific subject to practice. She helps me with pronunciation, and if I mess up words, she is knowledgeable and understands what I'm trying to say. The things we talk about and go over, she compiles in a word document that I can study from later. I'm very happy with the lessons so far!
