Hi everyone, I'm Federica from Rome. I'm currently based in Melbourne, where I teach Italian in a school.
I have a bachelor degree in Modern Literature, a Master's in Modern Philology and the CEDILS certificate. 📚
I have a deep passion for literature and travels ✈️
So far I've lived in Italy (of course), Spain, Germany and Australia, I always take the chance to explore new places. Whether it's short trips within Italy or longer journeys abroad, I'm always looking for fresh experiences.

I am a very patient teacher and curious person, and I'm very passionate about exploring new cultures while sharing my own, noticing the cultural differences and focusing also on the extra-linguistic communication.
I believe in connecting grammar to cultural aspects, that are important to understand the society that you (hopefully) will meet one day. 🇮🇹
I don't mind to repeat the same concept many time, the goal is to learn and mistakes are part of the process. As the latins used to say "repetita iuvant" (it helps to repeat). 🏛️

I teach both beginners and more advanced levels, from A1 to B2, adults and kids. Each lesson will be structured according to my students needs, ensuring that it's perfect to bring you everyday closer to your language goal.

Each session with Frederica has been enjoyable and invigorating. She has helped me past my barriers by speaking to me in Italian and answering lingering questions (sometimes in English and sometimes in Italian) depending on the complexity. I feel encouraged to speak as much as possible therefore I feel very successful at the end of the session. Frederica has customized the time to my interests and abilities. She has given me travel videos to watch so we can discuss them and practice problems when I ask for them. Grazie Frederica.
