I'm Nao. I currently live in Hyogo Prefecture. I love studying English and Korean. I also like music and films.
👩🏫 I have been teaching Japanese since 2019. Currently, I work in an office during the day, so my available time for lessons is limited. If you’d like a lesson at a time not shown as open, please send me a message.
🏫 From March 2019, I taught Japanese for one year in offline classes at a Japanese language school in Warsaw, Poland. During a temporary return trip to Japan, I was unable to go back to Warsaw due to the coronavirus, so I stayed in Japan.
💻 Since returning to Japan, I have been teaching Japanese exclusively online to people from various countries and regions.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
👍 Students who have signed up privately, as well as on italki, say that they feel relaxed as if they are talking to a friend. They also mention that the lessons are well prepared, Nao is funny, and the lesson time seems to fly by.

The lessons are basically conducted in Japanese. Sometimes simple English or Korean is used to give explanations.
📚 For over 13 years old ✏️
・The lessons are basically based on the textbooks 'Irodori' and 'Marugoto' published by the Japan Foundation. Sometimes I also use news articles for lessons. I use a variety of tools to make the lessons fun.
・I have conversation-based lessons, but I also give grammar quizzes and quizzes at the end of each topic of the text to check achievement and understanding.
🐻 For 4 - 11 years old 🐰
For Kids' lessons, no textbooks are used. Puppets and games are used to make the lessons fun.

I’ve been taking lessons with Nao for long time, and I always enjoy our time together. Nao is very patient and helps simplify complex thoughts into more manageable chucks that are appropriate for my level. She is also flexible to the lesson style, sometimes we free talk and other times she prepares questions to guide the conversation. In the past she also helped me work through one of the irodori textbook and ensured that I was understanding the concepts correctly.
