To me, the transference of cultural understanding & context is as important as the grammar itself. Sicily is too often misrepresented by outdated caricatures and stereotypes of what is, in reality, an island with incredibly rich & complex history, tradition, and wisdom. Claudio has improved my Italian, he teaches clearly, and he provides material and methods that are very accessible and understandable. He is also a kind person, and incredibly intelligent, speaking several languages fluently. His knowledge of grammar and vocabulary is superb, he could go toe to toe with any university professor. Book him as your teacher, you will be happy you did.
