Excellent introduction and made me feel confident that I could refresh and learn more Japanese.

Mayu san is an amazing teacher!! She is endlessly patient, wonderfully encouraging and bring a warm positive energy to every lesson. Her explanations are always clear and easy to understand, and her thoughtful feedback has helped my Japanese tremendously and now I speak much more confidently and with less mistakes. She gave me much needed motivation to continue learning Japanese and I will definitely take more lessons with her to further improve my Japanese. Highly recommended and thank you so much :)

Mayu先生 is a very kind, friendly, and patient teacher. I book lessons about once a week to practice conversation. Even though I often struggle to form my thoughts into sentences, Mayu does as amazing job leading the conversation, asking questions, and teaching me new words and phrases. She speaks with a natural tone and pace, which is great for listening practice and comprehension, but she will kindly repeat herself more slowly if I don't understand. Sometimes I just smile and nod, but I'm sure she can tell when I didn't get it 😅. I try to push myself to speak, even when I don't know how to say something grammatically. Mayu will usually let me try to finish my thought before jumping in and gently correcting if necessary. This helps keep the conversation casual, rather than strictly instructional. If you are comfortable speaking a little Japanese, and want to improve your fluency, I highly recommend Mayu先生!

It was my first lesson with Mayu san, but because she kindly encouraged me, I felt confident speaking in Japanese. She also taught me useful words during the conversation, which was very helpful.

My trial lesson with Mayu-san went well! We only had 30 minutes but it was time well spent. She asked questions and guided the conversation. She is patient and let me slowly figure out what I wanted to convey (and she would finish my thought and write it down for me to review later). I was worried about being rude accidentally, but she was very kind about my struggle. It was a nice gentle way for me to see what I need to review and improve on!

Mayu 先生 was very helpful and very understanding in the level of 日本人 that I was at. I would definitely recommend her for anybody starting out especially for younger people because i feel Mayu is easier to relate to!
