Airi was very patient in helping me through our conversation despite my having never spoken with anyone in Japanese before. She helped me to understand where I made mistakes and also provided me with the Kanji for her sentences when I needed help understanding, tailoring the lesson to my stronger reading skills when my listening skills failed. She also was able to communicate the meaning of words and sentences in excellent English when I was unable to understand the written words, helping me to understand better what she was saying and also helping to verify the meaning of my own sentences.

Airi San is a super kind teacher. My lessons with her have been incredibly helpful in overcoming my fear of speaking and making mistakes. She always keeps our conversations flowing and introduces topics effortlessly. In every lesson I encounter new vocabulary and expressions and get to learn something new about japanese culture. I highly recommend her lessons!
