Fredérick is an excellent tutor. He’s especially good for people who are lacking confidence in speaking Spanish as his classes create a fun and safe space to make mistakes and to learn from them. He also creates engaging lessons where you improve your vocabulary and discuss a real range of topics in depth. Finally he has a great cultural knowledge about both Colombia and Latin America. Would throughly recommend booking a lesson with him. :)

I've been taking Spanish lessons with Frederick for a while now and I've been really enjoying them. He's not a formal language teacher, but he explains things really clearly and makes learning fun. He's super attentive, creative, and often stays past the lesson time just to finish a game or conversation. I feel safe making mistakes with Fréderick, which is maybe the most important condition for me to learn. He listens closely and patiently to me and asks thoughtful questions. He doesn't hesitate to interrupt me with corrections, which I really need and appreciate. He tracks all our new vocabulary in a shared document, which I use to create flashcards to study. I've improved so much in my ability to speak Spanish because of Fréderick. After over a month of working together, his curiosity and authenticity have blessed and enriched my life and my language learning journey.

Well, I finally found him, the perfect teacher for me. Fréderick is amazing, he has so much positive energy during our classes. We never run out of topics to discuss, he is always prepared, and above all, he keeps me talking. And talking is what I need to improve my fluency. And besides teaching Spanish he shows me so many things from Colombia, be it slang or traditional drinks, you name it. If you want a teacher that makes you laugh while you learn, he's the one. Fréderick is the best iTalki tutor I've had the pleasure of meeting so far. We've been doing conversation lessons, and he has a knack of always finding a topic relevant to my language learning goals (my upcoming DELE A2 exam). He corrects me whenever I make mistakes, and suggests more natural phrases, and takes note of all of this on a shared Google Doc.
