Celia Valls

Celia is a fantastic Catalan teacher! Her classes have been fun and interesting. I’ve been learning new words and phrases in Catalan! 😊

This was my first lesson with Celia. She is EXCELLENT. Very patient and encouraging. We spoke entirely in Catalan (a real challenge for me) — but she is fluent in both English and Spanish, which she uses when I needed help with a given translation. Our lesson was fun and interesting — and I look forward to doing more lessons with Celia. Thank you!

Celia is a wonderful teacher and I can't speak highly enough of her! She puts so much care into preparing every class - creating amazing learning materials, resources, and games. The classes are always fun and enjoyable, and I feel that I am learning so much and developing more confidence with each session. Celia is very friendly, positive person, clearly invested in my learning, and always creates a safe, encouraging environment. We use Catalan as much as possible in class - but when I need some additional clarification or explanation, her fluency in English make everything clear and easy to understand. Moltes gràcies!
