I have had 22 lessons (and counting) with Jean-Baptiste and he is a wonderful French teacher. He brings topics to each lesson and keeps our conversations flowing easily. I never feel judged or apprehensive to speak, Jean-Baptiste is always supportive. He will typically correct any obvious mistakes that I make, such as wrong gender or wrong word, but he doesn't nit-pick, which I appreciate. He also types his corrections into the chat box so I have them for future reference. We have a shared passion for cinema, so this topic provides endless opportunities for discussion. We also both enjoy history, languages, and other cultures, meaning that our sessions are never lacking for things to talk about. I would unreservedly recommend Jean-Baptiste to anyone looking to improve their spoken French. He is reliable, gentle, caring, and a genuinely nice guy.

I’ve made real progress in both confidence and fluency since starting lessons with him. I finish each class feeling motivated and excited for the next one. Jean-Baptiste is kind, patient, flexible, and highly knowledgeable. I recommend him to anyone seeking effective and engaging French lessons!

It is always a pleasure to take lessons with Jean-Baptiste! My improvement from my perspective has been nothing short of incredible. Only a month ago I could barely introduce myself. Now, lessons have become a place for me to express much more complex ideas and involve significantly higher level exchanges with Jean. Do not hesitate to schedule lessons with him, I can assure it will be worth it.
