Konnichiwa☺️ I’m Risa, a certified native Japanese teacher based in Tokyo. With a background in marketing and international business, I’ve spent several years living abroad in Thailand and Singapore. Being a language learner myself, I know that learning a new language can be challenging, but it is truly life-changing. It has broadened my horizons, allowed me to live abroad, and helped me connect with amazing people all over the world. After passing the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test, I began my journey as an instructor with the goal of helping you open new doors through the Japanese language. ⭐️My Teaching Approach My lessons focus on communication and are designed to be a "safe space" where you can make as many mistakes as you need—that’s how we improve! Whether you want to enjoy your travels in Japan more, dream of living here someday, want to understand your favourite Japanese content, or are aiming to pass the JLPT, I am here to help. Eri-san was so lovely and guiding throughout the lesson! I appreciated her catering the lesson to my goals and tailoring it to my purpose of learning Japanese.
