What a wonderful first lesson in Dari! Atifa was a phenomenal teacher whose personality really shined. She was prepared, so kind, and provided much cultural exchange. I had always been curious about Dari and Afghan culture, and she was here to deliver. Cannot wait for more classes with teacher Atifa. Tashakor!!

I just wrapped up my 50th lesson with Atifa, and they’ve flown by. I’m already looking forward to the next 50! She’s great at keeping the conversation flowing and always manages to find the perfect English word to explain the nuance of a Dari term when I get stuck. She’s got a good sense of humor, plenty of charisma, and knows her history, which makes every lesson engaging and interesting.

Today was a really good class! I think it was our second class together. I felt like I talked a lot and even with all my errors, I felt confident talking with Atifa. She is a good listener and really tries to understand what I’m saying. If she’s not sure, she always confirms (in Dari) to make sure she understood me correctly. I plan to continue booking lessons with her!
