Interesting lesson as usual. I can see that Yukiko-san is proficient in teaching; she is good at guiding students to think on their before giving them the correct answers. I enjoy this way of learning very much. Even if you get the answer wrong, you still learn a lot, compared to when you’re directly given the correct answer.

Yukiko can explain difficult grammar rules and nuances in a way that I can understand with my limited japanese... always impressed!!!

I had an excellent first lesson with Yukiko. She came prepared with structured material and created a very collaborative, encouraging learning environment from the beginning. She used mostly Japanese throughout the lesson while still making the class feel accessible and understandable for a beginner student. I especially appreciated her patience and the way she guided me through reading and production instead of just lecturing. The lesson felt organized, engaging, and motivating without ever feeling overwhelming. I left the class feeling excited to continue studying Japanese and looking forward to future lessons with her. Highly recommended.

Yukiko is always preparing every lesson very diligently and manages to teach my various new grammar structures but also always give me room to try out speaking Japanese on my own! It's very helpful at the beginning of every lesson to have a chat with her. She listens very patiently to my words, corrects me and helps me find a more natural way of saying things. Yukikos lesson give me the feeling that I learn real Japanese instead of textbook Japanese taught in various learning books. Please consider Yukiko as your Japanese teacher, as well :) I am always looking forward to our great lessons and also, my Japanese has improved a lot ever since our sessions. Thank you!

Yukiko is an incredibly attentive teacher 💛 who carefully prepares high-quality materials for every lesson 🎯💪. Her explanations are exceptionally clear, her knowledge is deep, and her dedication is truly inspiring. Intermediate Japanese is notoriously difficult to grasp, but thanks to Yukiko, even complex grammar and expressions become easy to understand. Although the entire class is conducted in Japanese, everything comes across perfectly. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking to reach an intermediate level in Japanese.
