Hi, my name is Clover Tao (You can call me Clover or Tao laoshi)! I'm a native Mandarin speaker and a professional Chinese teacher with a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics. I’m passionate about guiding dedicated learners to fluency and making the journey enjoyable. If you're looking for a Chinese tutor, I’d love to help you turn your language dreams into reality!

I am an open-minded, certified, and passionate teacher with more than 10 years of experience teaching in China and abroad. I worked at a private high school in Australia for a year, and I graduated from the University of Queensland.
My students come from all over the world and have varying levels of proficiency. My classes cover a wide range of topics, including daily conversation, travel, education, economics, global issues, and more. You can also explore Chinese idioms and literature with me.

My classes focus on improving students’ speaking skills, as most learners aim to communicate effectively in Chinese. I use Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) and Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) methods to guide our lessons.

Another great lesson with Clover. This time we talked about food and cooking, which was a really fun topic as we were able to compare cooking styles between different countries.
