I’m a friendly and patient Japanese teacher who specializes in beginner Japanese and conversation practice.
Whether you want to communicate smoothly in Japan or speak more naturally and fluently, I’ll guide you step by step with lessons tailored to your pace and interests.
With 11 years of experience in the fashion industry — including 7 years as a store manager — and experience as a head receptionist at a dental clinic, I’ve developed strong communication skills and a warm, supportive teaching style 😊

I speak Japanese (native) and English (A2 level).
Lessons are mainly in Japanese, but I use simple English when needed so beginners can feel comfortable.

Today’s lesson with Asami-san focused on counters, and it was extremely useful. We started with counters for flat objects like sheets of paper and clothes (まい), then moved to counters for objects and vehicles (かい), and finally reviewed the counters for people.
The lesson was fun and very interactive. Asami-san used both visual examples (images) and written examples, which made the differences between the counters much clearer. She asked me questions throughout the lesson to check my understanding and make sure I was applying the rules correctly. As always, she prepared exercises for me to practice, which really helps reinforce the topic.
I’m really enjoying the structured yet engaging way she teaches.
