Hello! My name is Tara, and I'm originally from Canada with both British and Canadian nationality. I have worked for over 13 years supporting people from all walks of life, and I am passionate about creating safe, encouraging spaces for growth and connection. I now live in Portugal and love learning about new cultures, languages, and ways of life. I'm friendly, patient and genuinely interested in people's stories.

I specialize in conversational English and confidence-building. I understand how nerve-wracking it can feel to speak a new language- so my teaching style is calm, enouraging, and relaxed. My background working in social services has given me a deep respect for different perspectives and communication styles. I tailor each lesson to your needs and interests, whether that is everyday conversation, vocabulary building, or improving pronunciation and fluency.
I kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson. This helps me adjust my schedule and offer the time to other students. If you cancel within 24 hours of the lesson, the lesson fee may not be refundable บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
My lessons are informal, interactive, and focused on helping you speak naturally and confidently. I like to:
-Talk about topics you enjoy
-Correct mistakes gently and explain them clearly
-Build vocabulary and expressions useful in real-life situations
-Offer encouragement and practical feedback to keep you progressing
We can discuss travel, culture, daily life, work situations, or anything that excites your curiosity. I can also guide you in writing, reading and listening if you'd like a more structured approach.

Tara has a very pleasant way of teaching. She is very friendly. She has good feedback to help you. You can use a subject , home work , just talk or materials for the English lesson.

After another great lesson with Tara, I just had to leave a review. I'm truly grateful to her for helping me improve my English. I was looking for something specific — not a traditional lesson, but real, live practice to finally feel comfortable speaking.
