Salut ! I’m Raluca—a French and Romanian teacher with a Ph.D. in comparative literature and 8 years of university-level experience. Born in Romania (Iași), I spent 15 years in France (Paris and elsewhere) and now live in Italy (Bari, Apulia), so I teach with a quadrilingual flair (french, romanian, italian, english). My specialty ? Making language learning vibrant through poetry, etymology, and cultural deep-dives—from art to gaming. Whether you need grammar polish or lively conversation, you are welcome here. I am a passionate teacher of university-level comparative literature and languages, I have eight years of teaching experience in universities in France and Italy - which amounts to about 1400hours. I've directed MA theses and taught in English, French and Italian. บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
I'm comitted to creating a pleasant and stress-free teaching environment, and am attentive to the level, needs and goals of every student. My teaching is based on culture-related discoveries (music, visual media, literature, essais and articles) focusing on reading comprehension, written production, pronounciation, conversation, written translation, grammar (including theoretical grammar) and telling stories on the weaving strands of etymology. Brilliant, supportive Romanian teacher! Raluca explains language problems clearly and strikes a perfect balance between correcting mistakes and allowing the conversation to flow. Highly recommended for speaking practice, vocabulary building and extra touches of culture and literature.

Very enjoyable lessons with Raluca - really liked the structure of the class which covers different aspects of the language and it allows me to gain exposure to French culture through literature and music.

As always with Raluca, I really enjoyed our lesson. We discussed a Romanian modernist poem and I benefited a lot from our conversation and Raluca’s insights and explanations. I’m looking forward to many more lessons with her and can, again, wholeheartedly recommend her as a teacher.
