Salut ! I’m Raluca—a French and Romanian teacher with a Ph.D. in comparative literature and 8 years of university-level experience. Born in Romania (Iași), I spent 15 years in France (Paris and elsewhere) and now live in Italy (Bari, Apulia), so I teach with a quadrilingual flair (french, romanian, italian, english). My specialty ? Making language learning vibrant through poetry, etymology, and cultural deep-dives—from art to gaming. Whether you need grammar polish or lively conversation, you are welcome here. I am a passionate teacher of university-level comparative literature and languages, I have eight years of teaching experience in universities in France and Italy - which amounts to about 1400hours. I've directed MA theses and taught in English, French and Italian. บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
I'm comitted to creating a pleasant and stress-free teaching environment, and am attentive to the level, needs and goals of every student. My teaching is based on culture-related discoveries (music, visual media, literature, essais and articles) focusing on reading comprehension, written production, pronounciation, conversation, written translation, grammar (including theoretical grammar) and telling stories on the weaving strands of etymology. I am new to French, and Raluca is so patient. Her class structure is so appealing. By reviewing a poem, we cover pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and French idioms as I also gain exposure to beautiful French poetry.
Raluca is a gentle, patient, and encouraging tutor. Her love of language and words is evident and inspiring.
