Industrial Norwegian | Real talk for the job site & lunch room Hello, I’m Henrik. Let’s be honest: The Norwegian you learn on Duolingo is not the Norwegian you hear on a construction site or in a logistics warehouse. I work full-time in the logistics industry in Norway. I know that when you are out on a job, you don’t need to analyze poetry—you need to understand your foreman, follow safety regulations (HMS), and actually get the joke when your colleagues are laughing in the lunch room. If you want to survive your first week on the job—or want to stop feeling like an outsider at lunch—let's get to work. I am not a traditional teacher with a textbook. I am an industrial professional with 9 years of teaching experience. My goal is simple: to help you speak the kind of Norwegian that earns you respect at work. I believe in direct, honest feedback—just like you get on the job site. If you sound too stiff or like a "textbook robot," I will tell you. We skip the grammar drills and focus on communication that gets the job done. (I also offer Industrial & Business English coaching for professionals who need to navigate international workplaces). Real workplace vocabulary: The names of tools, how to give and take orders, and how to talk about safety without sounding unsure. Direct Feedback: In the industry, we speak straight from the gut.
