안녕하세요! I’m Ines, a native Korean speaker from South Korea. I speak English fluently and I’m currently learning Spanish too, so I know firsthand what it’s like to learn a new language; the struggles, the awkward pauses, and the tiny wins that keep you going.
I'm interested in history, linguistics, art, literature... and I love using these topics to spark interesting conversations in class!ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I’ve taught English to Korean students of all ages - from young kids to high school students preparing for college entrance exams. I’m also currently volunteering as an English tutor for children through a school outreach program. These experiences have taught me how to adapt to different learning styles and keep lessons engaging, no matter the level or age.
My students often tell me I’m patient and easy to talk to - and that means a lot to me. I work hard to make our time together feel safe and judgment-free. The #1 aim in my classes is for you to acquire Korean naturally. I often focus more on vocabulary than structured grammar rules, since I believe that it's the best effective way to pick up a language. I introduce vocabulary and try to use them through storytelling so that my students can naturally make connections with the phrase and the context.

Ines is a very patient, encouraging, and friendly teacher. Our lessons are always fun, and she creates a relaxed atmosphere. I feel comfortable practicing Korean and making mistakes, which really helps me improve.

I have taken 5 lessons with Ines so far. The lessons are fun and engaging, but without any pressure and with a nice relaxed atmosphere.
Our lessons have plenty of opportunity to practise speaking, listening, and reading, and I do a short piece of writing for homework which we review at the start of the next lesson.
Ines speaks both Korean and English very clearly. She also brings interesting and level-appropriate topics to discuss in each lesson.
