Omer

Omer has such a wonderful personality that I feel completely at ease around him—never embarrassed or judged. He patiently answers even my craziest questions and attentively corrects my mistakes, yet his warm smiles and encouraging words always motivate me to learn harder. I truly admire his dedication and professionalism in teaching, no matter what challenges he faces. His incredible skills and wholehearted passion have deeply inspired me. Beyond that, Omer is polite, humble, open-minded, willing to learn, brave in admitting mistakes, mentally strong, generous, kind, and incredibly thoughtful—all of which make me respect and appreciate him even more. Simply put, Omer is a talented and exceptional teacher—the best I’ve ever had. I am truly grateful and blessed to have him in my life. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart, Omer:)

I've now had more than 50 lessons with Omer over the past year and I can see how my Hebrew has improved in leaps and bounds. While I knew grammar decently and had a fundamental vocabulary a year ago, Omer has really taken my speaking and listening comprehension skills from very, very basic to almost on par with my grammar and vocabulary (which have also been expanding). Every week we talk about something interesting, be that something that's happened in our lives or a funny video clip he's seen that he knows I'll enjoy. I know my Hebrew is improving and he is a wonderful teacher and incredibly patient, but I also didn't fully realize it. I have gone from struggling to converse with him, to spending an hour talking fluently (though not always perfectly), asking questions about how to say something in Hebrew, talking around words I don't know, etc. As a language teacher, it is a joy to work with Omer and see the progress I have made with him.

Omer is truly an amazing and valuable teacher! After 300 lessons with him, he is not just my reliable teacher but also my dear friend. He has remained the same since the first time we met: calm, gentle, patient, detailed, serious, but also funny and friendly. He is intelligent, creative, hardworking, caring, and always helpful. Omer is great at cooking, acting, music, games, pets (especially cats!), movies, languages, and general knowledge, making every lesson enjoyable with endless topics to talk about! He speaks slowly and clearly, and his English is excellent, so despite my poor English, he understands what I want to say and helps me form sentences in Hebrew. Time always flies during our lessons, and by the end, I’ve learned so much and improved both my English and Hebrew! to be continued...
