Native English Speaker | Speak English Confidently and Business English with a Former Consultant Hi! My name is Serena, and I’m an English community tutor based in Canada. I speak English with a North American accent, as well as native Chinese and intermediate Japanese. Since I’m currently learning Japanese myself, I understand how challenging it can be to speak a new language with confidence. I previously worked as a management consultant at a top-tier firm and in corporate strategy, so I can also support students who want to improve their Business English for professional or corporate settings. I’m a patient, supportive, and encouraging teacher. I know how frustrating it can be to understand a language but struggle to speak it naturally. My goal is to help you feel more confident, comfortable, and clear when expressing yourself in English. I focus on real communication, not perfection, and I create a relaxed space where making mistakes is part of learning. My lessons are flexible and personalized based on your goals. We can do free conversation, topic-based discussions, or focus on Business English, presentations, interviews, or writing. If you like structure, I’ll guide you step by step. If you prefer a relaxed style, we can learn through natural conversation. You’re always welcome to tell me what you’d like to focus on.

優しくとても丁寧に教えてくれました。 リスニングはなんとなくでわかりましたが、文法もわからず、単語で聞き返す程度でしたが汲み取ってくれ、一番恐れていたどう伝えたらいいかわからずフリーズにすることはありませんでした。文化の違いやNGなトークテーマを教えてくれたのもとても勉強になった。
