Maritza has been an excellent teacher. Her methods are effective and flexible depending on my needs at the time, and these are constantly changing as I get more confident reading, writing and speaking. She teaches medical language in a way that will accessible and useful for my patients for a long time to come.

Maritza is a fantastic teacher! She is very easy going and relaxing, which was nice because I wasn't used to have teaching through skype. At the same time she tries to push you to speak and to answer questions in spanish in a polite way. I give my best recommendations and I am looking forward to the next lesson :)

Focused on learning to speak in the medical setting and good explanations on the use of tenses and increasing vocabulary that is can be used in the day to day interaction with patients.

The italki platform is difficult when students try to share their screens. Also the small dialog windows get in the way of material sometimes.

Great teacher with very specific medical Spanish focus which I what I need the most! Highly recommend if you are looking for a medical focus versus just conversational.
