Hello! My name is Asuka. I'm from Osaka, Japan.
I lived in Canada for 8 years and also spent a year in Germany.
I love chatting with people from different backgrounds, traveling, and listening to music.
As someone from Osaka, I can also teach you Osaka-ben (Kansai dialect) if you're interested!
My lessons are relaxed and focused on real-life conversation — perfect for beginners who want to enjoy learning Japanese naturally.

I used to teach preschoolers, age between 3 to 5, in Canada.

Asuka is honestly the best teacher I've had the pleasure of learning from.
Her explanations of Japanese words and sentences, along with examples she gives makes things much easier to understand.

I had my first lesson with Asuka sensei.
She was incredibly nice. I was admittedly nervous because my listening comprehension is not great, but Asuka made me feel at ease. I look forward to the next lesson with her.
