Yashar is an amazing teacher. I decided to take lessons from him because he himself has learned several languages and most of them overlap with mine or are similar (Dutch ~ German, Korean ~ Japanese), so it was easy to draw comparisons to other familiar languages and made it so easy and effortless to follow the grammar / structure of Farsi for me. For me it stands out that his classes are tailored to his student individually, so he adjusted the classes and his methodology to my needs, strengths and weaknesses. I made very good progress very quickly and am super happy with our classes. I studied Farsi to prepare for my trip to Iran, which I can now say, after just getting back from Iran, indeed prepared me very well, on the language as well as cultural and practical level. On top of all that, Yashar has a great positive vibe, which makes the classes very enjoyable, too! Thank you so much for all our lessons, and I look forward to our next classes to improve my Farsi even further.

Yashar is a fantastic teacher! I've been studying with him for less than a year, and I've gone from having zero Farsi to understanding complex sentence structures and advanced verb tenses. He is sharp at discerning a student's proficiency level and areas of weakness, and he comes up with creative, effective exercises to strengthen those areas. He's also flexible and accommodating. And on top of all that, classes with him are fun! You will laugh a lot and learn a ton. (That wasn't meant to rhyme.)

Fantastic fantastic first class!! Yashar moved at just the right pace - I felt not a single moment was wasted! Many analogies were drawn between languages to help me contextualize the role of each connector/pronoun/conjugation. Could not have asked for more. I'm now very pumped to be taking on "mission impossible". Let's set the record for both, and then top it off with that long awaited paper ;).

Yashar is an excellent teacher! He is very friendly and encourages/challenges you to comprehend the language which is so important when learning a new language! I am excited for more appointments and get to be taught by someone like Yashar!
